Gentle, child-centred Play Therapy for schools, charities and families across Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire.
When a child's distress surfaces as disruption or withdrawal, we work alongside your team to provide a dedicated therapeutic space within your setting. We deliver clear, confidential progress updates so teachers and safeguarding leads can respond with confidence.
✓ Reduced classroom disruption ✓ Progress reports ✓ Staff consultation
Seeing your child struggle is heartbreaking. Children process the world through play — not words. In a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space filled with sand trays, art materials and carefully chosen toys, your child can release trapped emotions and gently begin to heal.
✓ Free initial consultation ✓ Child-led pace ✓ Confidential sessions
We know reaching out is a big step. Everything moves at your pace — and your child's.
Tell us about your child's world. No commitment, no pressure. Just a warm chat to see if we're the right fit.
Claudia meets your child to understand their unique needs and begin building the therapeutic relationship.
Child-led sessions at the same time and place each week, providing the consistency children need to feel safe.
Regular confidential updates on themes and wellbeing — never disclosing play details — so everyone can support the child's growth.
Children don't have the words to say "I am overwhelmed." Instead, they use play — and in the playroom, that is always enough.
— Claudia, PTUK Registered Play Therapist
I'm a deeply passionate, PTUK-Registered Play Therapist dedicated to the emotional wellbeing of children. My journey began in the classroom as a primary school teacher — which means I understand both the pressures children face and how schools think and work.
Driven by a desire to support children more deeply, I transitioned into therapeutic work. My philosophy is rooted in patience, empathy, and a profound respect for each child's unique journey. I believe every child has an innate capacity to heal when given the right environment.
Because the need for compassionate support is so vital, I provide a mobile service — travelling to schools and supporting families directly in their community.
We provide a fully mobile service — delivering sessions in safe, professional environments across Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire.
If your school or location is within approximately 20 miles of Market Drayton, we can almost certainly help. Drop us a message and we'll confirm.
Still unsure? Every family is different — please get in touch for a free, no-obligation conversation.
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly as a parent or school. Self-referral is welcome and there is no waiting list.
Every child is different. Some children benefit from 12–16 weeks; others with more complex needs may require longer. We review progress together regularly so you always have a clear picture of how your child is progressing.
Sessions are confidential to protect the child's safe space. However, Claudia provides regular updates on broad themes and wellbeing — so you understand how the therapy is supporting your child — without disclosing the specifics of their play.
Play therapy is designed precisely for this. Children don't need to talk. The therapeutic toys, sand tray and art materials give them a language beyond words. It's the natural way children communicate and process.
Please get in touch for current fees. Schools often fund sessions from pupil premium. Fees for families are kept as accessible as possible — we're happy to discuss options during your free initial conversation.
Absolutely. All information is held in strict confidence in line with PTUK's ethical guidelines, GDPR and the Children Act. The only exception is if Claudia has concerns about a child's safety — in which case safeguarding procedures are followed and explained to you.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. We'll always respond warmly — with no pressure and no commitment.
